Simple and Inexpensive
Exercise ideas from home is a great idea if you are looking for something inexpensive and pretty simple to do. When it comes to wanting really good health and becoming our normal weight, the plain truth is we can’t expect it if we don’t move!
Here are some exercise ideas you can do from home, just work them into your day when and as you see fit.
I did go to a gym which I didn’t enjoy all that much. I changed gym’s to one that was much more user friendly and my measurements were going down… but eventually I just got sick of it. If you want to go to a gym and you can keep it up, year in and year out… good onya… I think that’s great, but I want to concentrate more on the things I can do at home which cause me to “move”!
After all, it’s movement our body requires and a bit of weight resistance. Anyway, this is what I do, in no particular order:
- Go for walks
- Jump on a Mini Trampoline
- Swing off doorjamb stretch
- Dance to your favourite music
- Take the stairs
- Park further away
- House cleaning
- Posture Exercises
- Walk around the verandah
- Kegal Exercises for strong pelvic floor muscles
- Kick/throw the ball for the dog… he’ll make sure you receive plenty of exercise!
- Tai Chi
I’m sure there are many more exercise ideas from home we could come up with that are simple and inexpensive. Got any ideas?
